I change my own fluids, replaced the brake pads, and will do anything I can get my hands on! If I'm in a hurry or on the road, I'll use the quick lube places for oil changes and then do it myself when I get home.

I do everything that I can myself. Everything else, my brother or his friends will do. Pretty soon here, my brother's friend will be putting on my struts, camber kit, and rotors. Damn you hub-over design.

hehe, most of the people on here are DIYers myself included. But Acura does do good work, but you'll pay a ton more. If you have any major work and decide to take it there you can count on quality service, but expensive service.
But hey, you'll get to drive an 07-08 ack for the day. thats a plus!

Hell yea, I drove an 06 TL for 3-4 days and had an 07 MDX for a week. The trick is to take it in on a friday or sat, and I knew they were going to have to order parts. When I had the MDX theyre only supposed to have the loaners out for no more than 4 days. The keys have a homing device that if they dont get hung back on the board a little alarm goes off. So he had me drive up there and hand him the keys and then he gave it right back to me.

You're 18. They aren't gonna give you shit.

(At least not in Cali, you have to be 23 or something to get a loaner car.)
