selling the turbokit
i've been talking to alot of people who have turbo and they've been telling be to stay away from it. they say that since i drive so many miles and my car is a daily driver, the likelyness of me throwing a rod or something is very high. this is scaring me so i'm thinking about going h22 all motor (port and polish, cams, valves, ect).
if anyone is interested i'm thinking of selling my fmax turbo kit for a starting price of $1,250.
it come with:
FMax High-Carbon Cast-Steel Turbo Manifold (Thermo coated)
Closed-Loop Mandrel Bent Downpipe (Polished)
Intercooler Piping
T3/T4 Turbonetics Hybrid Turbocharger (exhaust side thermo coated)
TIAL External Wastegate
Spearco Intercooler
GReddy Type-S Blowoff Valve
MSD HI-Flow Fuel Pump
DSM Injector Resistor Pack
Vortec Fuel Pressure Regulator.
Oil Return Line
This came off a all race accord that had 10,000 miles on the car. turbo was installed at 5,000 miles. Turbo was used for less than 5,000 miles.

um blurry, as long as you take the right precautions you will be find. The beauty of a turbo is you aren't always on boost, so as long as you don't drive like an idiot picking up boost all times of the day the motor will essentially wear just as a NA motor. I honestly think you will be fine. I've got friends w/ basically full drag cars that push like 20+ lbs of boost and these cars are their daily drivers. As long as you take the right precautions to start with you will be find. I seriously think you should keep it, you will love it

yeah, i can beat a stock h22 to about 60mph if i have a good launch, even bolt on ones! After that i'm toast, but with only like 8psi a f22 could fuck up even bolt on h22's.

Yea I guess I was thinking if my car had about 6 psi of boost and no other major mods it could beat me. My clutch is at the point where if i rev it up and try to go it hesitates for a while cause it slips. I'll get a racing clutch eventually.
Blurry, I see you havent gotten a chance to reply yet, but by deposit i mean about 80% right away and the rest next week. I work nights mostly so unless you reply before 1 i wont see it until after 9.

Maryland. Paypal would probably charge too much in fees so either money order or cashiers check would be better. I would of course pay for shipping. If i was to figure shipping as $100 im only 300 short right now, my boss would probably advance my pay. I'll check back tonight.

dude, it's a fucking honda motor, parts are cheap and you've gotta have friends that will do the work for free? Are you just planning on throwing the kit on a bone stock motor? Won't you build it up first?

$1250 is a pretty sweet price! I wish i had the money right now, cause i'm really close to you.
Only scary part is that unless that accord guy was a friend of your's there is no way of telling if it really only has 5K miles on it. Oh well, the actual turbo is basically the only thing tht could be "worn out", but they aren't even that expensive alone.

I got a cash loan from a friend today. If my account is as it should be I could probably send you a money order tomorrow, or I can do paypal and cover some of the fees. I would need your account info by 1 tomorrow to do a money order, or I could just check on my balance and do it Thursday. You can e mail me at w_randolph@hotmail.com .

it's set for 7.5 psi right now. you might need a boost controller if you need lower psi. all you need is:
-DSM 440cc injectors(you already are getting the resistor pack)
-boost controller (i recommend the Greddy profec e-01)
-fuel management (i recommend the Greddy Emanage with the iginition and boost harness.)
