There's an alarm wire that connects to your battery, it's a small wire that has a black fuse holder on it, see if it's hooked up, may not be

keyless entry should work for just unlocking the door even if the alarm wire isnt connected.
you're doing something wrong with programming the remote.
*tips*make sure your door is closed when you try to lock the door when you program the remote. and also when it says put it on "ON" it doesnt mean start the car.

Sorry for bringing the thread back but I need some help.

Anybody have a picture of this alarm wire that is connected to the battery?? Or can tell me where this cable comes from so that I can look for it or rewire it. I have searched and found nothing. This could be the final thing I can actually try to see if my keyless entry works. I dont have a wire going to my battery other than a power cable for a system. Someone please help me with this.

I understand that it has a fuse. I read it from the posts of 2 years ago. I just cant seem to find any thin wire with a fuse. Is there any someone can take a picture of it? Or better yet just tell me where it comes from so that I can at least no where to start.

Thank you I appreciate it.

Does it come from inside the car through the firewall? Or from a fuse box under the hood?
