seat wont lock

the other day i was vaccuming out my 98 cl. and i flipped the switch to move the seat up and when i went to push the seat back it wouldnt lock into any place. i got down to look at what might be the problem and there is a rail with these holes in it for the seat to lock, but the piece that is supposed to go into one of those holes isnt working. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if there was a way for me to fix it without sending it to the shop........again

i had the same problem. my dickhead friend had a quarter drop from his pocket and got stuck in the rail. just use a magnet, or some superglue on a stick to get rid of it.

hope this helps.

12mm Socket Wrench and take out the 4 bolts, clean under your seat, clean ur rails, put ur seat back in, fixed in 10-15 minutes.

Compared to looking under a nasty (most of the time) sticky place for something you don't know whats there

i had the same problem.. i found a quarter wedged in there and it was stuck.. got it out with a screwdriver.. (took me 15 minutes.. ghey..) but sometimes it still gets stuck without anything stuck.. so now i just push it back as hard as i can and it usually clicks in...
