Saw the new Mazda RX-8 today.......
And I don't think I like it.
It looks like a Crysler or something. Too many lines and contours. The rear mid section looks like there's one of those pickup truck crew door....yeck! The front is pretty low and agressive, then you got a pretty upright windshield. Following it from behind, the back is pretty damn high making the overall height as high as any other mid-size family cars out there...as I was comparing it to an Accord that was next to it at the time. From the side....it doesn't flow too well...you got that low hood...upright windshield....bulbvious ass end...
I'm sure it drives well and all. But with the new car hype, many folks love it. I'll give it few years, it may grow on me.

to the h/p recall, that really blows. i've driven one already, and they're not all that, i mean, its a great looking car, but i think i ll wait for the new RX-7 to come out

maybe i'm wrong, but i heard a while back Mazda was gonna make a new RX-7. supposedly the RX-7 will stay 2 door while the RX-8 will be the four door. Thats just what I heard, if i'm wrong im' wrong

i saw last year that this was the last year that they were making the rx-7 in japan it was the 02 model as far as i can remeber they werent coming out with the rx-7 anymore could be wrong but almost positive

heard the new supra will be the ultimate sport car. Its waiting to see the con on all sport car such as the 350Z, RX-8, NSX, R35(infinitie skyline)....etc., then it'll bust out with a whole new level.

New supra is still a rumor. Plus its not going to be turbo if they do end up making it. The RX-7 remake is going to be a hardtop convertible...I posted something about this a while back.

The rx-7 will be under a different name supposedly. If the sales on the rx-8 do well enough then the rx-7 will have plans drawn up and created. The rx-7 will remain a pure sports car, where everything in the mazda line, except maybe the miata fall short of. Hopefully this becomes a reality, because there isnt too many truely affortable sports cars out there.

RX-8 = Girls car.
Cause that's all I've seen driven em around here...
Damn shame too...sounded like it was going to be a tight-ass car before it came out.
