A salad im tossing around

Does anyone have any experience with re-upholstering a car? Im not looking into doing it myself, but paying someone to do it. I think doing it myself is a little out of my skill level. Unless there is some already pre-stitched covers, which I think I heard someone talking about some time ago.

Does anyone know what the cost would be going from cloth to leather from a decent upholstering company?

There was a member that had it done on here. Switched all the gray looking interior to all black, including the sun visors and all. It was sweet/clean looking. I'm pretty sure he got a good deal on it.

If you could find a decent price, I think black leather with red stitching and perf. leather inserts would be sexy

by the way, is there something wrong with your car? I thought you mentioned it in a few other threads. best of luck to ya

woah.. way too high, I had looked into putting leather into an Eclipse ( ) that I got a few years ago and they claimed $900-$1200 depending on how I wanted the stitching.

Its been a long expensive process, but I think it is fixed. It came down to the car being at the mechanics for a week and him finding nothing. Taking it to an alignment shop and them finding a bent control arm... So a bent control arm and a ball joint..

It seems like 100x times better. Get another alignment tomorrow and that should be good... Then I need to worry about replacing that god aweful exhaust.

Yeah.. I'm really kicking myself for letting the exhaust shop keep my old muffler.. You have no idea...

Its either gonna be a stock exhaust or a magnaflow with like 10 resonators on it so it is quiet...

Super quiet exhaust FTW

Thats cool.. I deserved that...

1200 bucks for a murano huh.. The CL may be a little cheaper than that. Lack of 2 doors and all. But probably around there..... I dont live in the cold, so I cant see seat heaters being a requirement, but ill look into it.. Thanks Chris!
