Said goodbye to the 3.0
Said goodbye to the 3.0
After finally realizing that my CL was dying another slow tranny death, I decided I had enough. I traded the car in on Saturday (got my payoff for it
) for a lease on a 2008 Altima 2.5S Sedan with the 6mt. I was sad to see the car sitting on the lot but I am quickly falling in love with the Altima.
Also this month, I added a 2003 S2000 to the garage. Found the car in Tempe and made the drive that night to go get it... it hadn't even been on their lot for more than 24 hours when we picked it up...
Anyways, thanks to everyone who was here to help and give suggestions when hell broke loose with the CL. Hopefully after the lease is up on the Altima I'll be able to get into the new TSX or TL

Definitely love the v6 Accord. The local dealers here seem to have a shortage of those... otherwise it would have been a thought. I only had my choice of one v6 coupe... it was on the showroom floor going for the same price as a Mugen Civic SI sedan and an S2000 CR.
For now I'm happy though, my insurance has only gone up $5 a month more than my CL, gas mileage on my first tank should get me to 430 miles and I still have a 6 speed so I don't feel like I'm driving a mom car. I think it will keep me entertained for 36 months. Oh yeah, I also don't have to worry about why my tranny is lurching through the gears, thats the best part
