Safe to drive? please respond

yah, so this is my question... i have to drive from San Francisco to Omaha, Nebraska. my car is on stock rims, but its pretty low. has about 45k miles, and the oil is good. the coolant hasn't been flushed yet, but i don't think that 's that serious. the weather's been pretty nuts, and does anybody advise against this drive? anything i should prepare for? thanks, and the distance is about 1600 miles

you think he'll need snow tires?
