roll call....what springs do you have on 3.0...
and what are your impressions.
im switching from my ground controls back to springs. i had the pro kit in like 99, so i remember how they are.
im looking at tanabe, tein, and neuspeed so far. sportlines are interesting, but no part number for the 3.0. which brings to my next question, can we use the general rule of using 90-97 accord suspension parts on our car, or does that only apply to the 2.3 CL when it comes to springs?
i need to shop quick because i need to order by the beginning of next week.

sportlines
I desperately miss my pro kit though
I hated the neuspeed, suspension techniques, GC's, and sprints
I loved the Apex'i coilovers but they weren't mine and I had to give them back.
If I was to do it all over again it'd be tein coilovers for sure.

Sportlines on KYB GR-2s
Comfortable but too low on a 3.0. The front that is. Anything that is 4-5"+ high will scrape my downpipe or tranny. Sounds horrible!!!
Hey CLPower, I can't recall which of the CLs were you (2.2/2.3/3.0)?
Well, just to give a heads up to those out there with 3.0s and wonder about sportlines. The drop is extremely low, my 215/45/17 tires tuck about an inch under the fender. So hopefully that gives you a mental image.
The rear is ideal though with the sportlines. The spring rates for the front just need to be increased though.
BTW, folks just a thought here about sleeve coilovers. True coilover setups are the way to go...so I've heard, but my thought was what if I were to weld the sleeve onto the shock's base itself, now the sleeve is integrated into the shock. There will be no play between the sleeve and the shock and would avoid the clanking noises usually associated with coilovers, and maybe would minimize the bounciness of the ride. What do you guys think? I'm gonna try some time either way. Then we'll know for sure.

thanks for the input.
so far im looking at tein s-tech, sportlines, and now ive come across tom's racing springs (x-dynamic). anybody have thoughts on the tom's?
the problem with all these are that the parts are for the 2.2/2.3, so the spring rates will be wierd in the front. i think that explains why the fronts or CLpower and athlonXP are so low compared to the back. i have that problem on my coilovers, but i thought it was just me.
so im thinking, because i have koni adjustables (with adjustable perch) i could set the front to the higher perch setting and the back to the lower perch setting to make the look more even. or is that even necessary?
one last question... because of my laziness to use the search button, anybody have pics of their sportlines on the 3.0CL?
