Which Rims???
Which Rims???
Saturday, the GCs and Tokico Illums will be installed on the CL, dropping her about 2".
I have from now until then to decide on which rims to go with. Most likely, I'll run 225/45/17s because 18s are too rough for my taste.
Attached are the two rims I've narrowed down to. Which ones do you guys like?
***Forgive me in advance 732xghost, but I had to borrow your photo since your ride is lowered.***
Choice #1

Choice #2

I know...crappy photochop skills.
At this point, Im leaning more toward Choice #1 because I've always liked the "mesh" look and it also resembles the rims on my garage queen.

I'm also buying mesh wheels for my CL, so I choose #1. Are those the Sport Max 006's or ASA AR1's? I really want the AR1's, but they are nearly impossible to get in the 4X114 lug pattern. The Sport Max's look good too, but they seem to only come in black, which doesn't look all that good.
Lookin' good! I forget, do u have a 3.0 or a 2.2? Is the suspension setup the GC sleeve coilovers or just springs?
Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm happy with the look and will roll my DD with pride.
My current setup consist of Tokico Illuminas and GC sleeve coilovers with custom spring rates. The front is 450lbs and set to 2 on the shocks while being dropped 2.5". The rear is 280lbs and set to 3 while being dropped 2.25". It's slightly lower than I want, so I'll end up raising it 1/4 all around.
Overall, the ride is really nice, firmer than stock and the handling is much more predictable. I'll take better photos this week when it stops raining.

Looks great man.
Go with your first choice, either way you win. But for me it's #2, reason is i have 07 TL/S with stock mesh/fishnet type wheels. With the big brakes, Dust is a problem, for cleaning the open spoke will work better. I will change my wheels soon.
