it was just a stock 98 black 2.3 cl. they should have given him his stock wheels back for the winter. funk knows nj winters are brutal on rims. and the shop in ny knows that too.

 

And monster garage, CL with 500 HP and plow snow at same time.

Even if it was free, I wouldnt give my car up to Flex and let it end up like that.

but that car looks pretty gross I was expecting something way better looking... I think they didn't want to paint the hood or something so they left it black and got those rims with the money they saved. the worst custom ride done on a show by far.

 

I don't know if i would go that far. X to the Z does some of the most hack, ricey looking shit to the cars on pimp my ride. If they dropped that car low, blacked out the headlights and removed the tribals, i would be better. But i was expecting MUCH more of FMF.

Omg!!!!!!! Pooor car!!! I would have just asked for the money instead. I could have made it look 10x better.

 

I also would have expected more from funk flex.

I watch his show sometimes and mostly he pimps out celebs cars and his own cars so I guess there is more money to go into those rides... he did 50's and missy's and his own... not to many imports though... some euros and older american muscle.

Like some said ... he probably never saw the car until the day of the shoot.

Again the budget was 5K. it was origianlly 2.5K. also the car was at the shop today becuase when they towed it they ripped his cv joints!

the only thng i really dont like is the paint job....like everyone said it was FREE so if he wanted 2 he could repaint it watever color he wanted to....did they put n e TVs inside or n e thng other than exterior?

 

no all they did was the exterior, paint, rims and not even a drop

i dont think a tv system was put in but i think a radio might have been put in but dont know ask VXCL

 

they gave him a kenwood hu and he got an xbox for the house and like 6 games.

 

Man that show sounds wack from this post, over hauling and pimp seems a lot better by far.

 

its not the reg show. he normaly pinp out celebs rides with unlimited budget. this was just a one time thing with a small budget for a normal kid.
