Hi i accidentally pulled out my ignition coil fuse on my 99 CL 3.0 and the check engine light came on. Someone tried manually starting my car manually through the engine on the same day also. Does anyone know how to reset the light? Please let me know. Thanks.

 

i believe you just take off the neg. term of the battery for a period of time (2 min?)

 

i thought it was the pos. side and let it sit for like 10min...to clear the ECU...then start it back up, and dont tought the gas for 10min, so the ecu can relearn.

 

either should work, as long as the battery is disconnected, there is not a complete circuit, do the positive just to be sure though.

 

And it's safer.
