Replacing Cassette with Flush Surface

I've got a dual single DIN setup of a CD and Tape from the factory and I want to take the Tape Player out and put a flat surface where the Tape Player was.... does anyone know of who/where I can find a mounting plate like this? I'm thinking of getting the XM Roady 2 and I want it to look nice on the install.... thanks! BTW...97 2.2

Any stereo shop will have an install kit with either a blank panel, or a pocket. Or you can get the factory one with a lid. I prefer the stock one, but the shop I went to said it can't be done with and aftermarket deck. I think they just don't know how cause I've seen others with it.

I have the cubby pocket that goes in the stock tape deck if you are interested.

Who are you talking to...me? I have one too. I keep meaning to try to install it and push in the deck. It sticks out like and inch.

I'm just lazy I guess...

Stock deck is larger than 1 din, so an install kit won't fit. You prob will either have to get the stock door that covers the pocket or make something custom.

For the door, www.acuraautomotiveparts.net
