Replacing Calliper(sp?)

How hard is it to replace the rear callipers?

Care to elaborate? i wanna take mine out and paint em' but its gotta be a DIY project. I only got money for paint lol.

you dont have to remove them to paint them, just mask everything up. and make sure you use high temp paint, or have a paint shop do them to match the car. good luck!

I took mine off. Its only two extra bolts. Used a hanger through the bolt holes to hang the whole caliper while I painted it (masked everything else).

No I need to replace a calliper, the rear left. I was told you have to replace them in pairs too.

sorry for the "blunt" remark... I was just answering the question. The only reason they say to replace them in pairs is to keep the two of them the same, to keep your braking consistent, because over time they will warp a little and if one has a smaller gap than the other one, your brakes will be working harder on one side. It is advisable to change them in pairs though... do your pads and rotors while your at it too.

I am going to have to bleed the brakes when I change it right? How do you do that? Also is it hard to change the rotors?
