Removing steering wheel

Hey guys, do any of you know how to remove our steering wheels? I just got an MDX steering wheel, and it looks like a prefect match. But not sure about the metal plate that holds it.

Im going to give this alittle bump because i want to know about changing my wheel out. Did you just get a leather ring like they sell on ebay all the time or a half leather half wood one? Oh is it a ring or the whole wheel and where did you get it? Thanks

I have always wanted to change out my wheel too. I wanted an aftermarket wheel but I wouldn't be able to keep the airbags. DAMN those airbags!!!

Hey guys, it's just the Steering wheel without the airbag. I got it off ebay for $20 shipped. THe whole thing is leather. They took it off an MDX that upgraded to a wood steering wheel. The wheel is the same size are ours and everything matches up. But the color is a little darker then mine. But it's okay. I just need to take off my wheel and see if the plates match though.

does anybody know how to take off the steering wheel??

Well, these are the instructions on taking out the MDX steering wheel, but it looks the same as our CL when i looked at the instructions.

www.hond**********.com

Select the MDX woodgrain steering wheel, and you'll find a PDF install instruction file.

I think i need a steering wheel puller or something...so i'm waiting for my brother to get home. But anywayz. GO GET A MDX steering wheel off EBAY!!! They fit perfectly with no problem. Well so far so good, everything matches up. But i just need to pull that damn old one off so i could put this new one on.

Sorry I didn't read this post sooner. Last month I installed a new '02 Accord wheel in my CL. It was really easy. I love the feel of the newer wheels b/c they are like twice as thick as the original.

Hey, how's it going. Yeah that's my lip spoiler. I have stopped working on the body b/c I decided to let the body shop finish the blending. Also I've been thinking about getting a different vehicle. If I decide to keep it, I will do a full color change. So I need to decide if I'm keeping it or not, before I turn it over for body and paint work.
