Removing the alternator from a 3.0

Removing the alternator from a 3.0

Anyone know how.. or a how to link

or any advice.. i did remove all the bolts and stuff but i can get it out..


help.

wiggle it through by the radiator. that's what i did, it's a tight fit, but it can be done.

It helps if you remove the radiator bolts to give you some extra room.

yeah i was thinking of that.. but i wanted to remove the left hand fan on the radiator.. will that help?

i did this not too long ago. look up dustbuster4's profile and in his signature should be a link with the scanned instructions. in short, you remove the fan, unscrew everything, take off belt and you're done.

ok ok, ive done thjs literally 6 times

un bolt the passenger side fan (3 bolts) remove it.

then remove the belt by using the belt tensioner, then unbolt the alternator itself and unplug the connector. it comes right out.
