Removing 97 Center Console?

I need some help removing the center console. I had all the screws out that I assumed I needed, but I think there is a bolt or screw into this metal bracket that holds the stock radio in. Am I correct or do I have to take out the plastic around the steering column, glove compartment, etc.

You do have to remove the steering column cowling, and also get a screw or 2 that are up inside of the glove box. I believe you also do have to pop out the middle part, and get bolts down inside, there is a metal bracket that holds the stock headunit and pocket.

Too bad that doesn't help me at all because you don't describe how to remove the actual console so I can get to the screws below the shifter.
