Remove top door panel

Remove top door panel

The passenger door panel appears to be split into 2 sections. The top panel is about 3-4in wide. Is this separate from the bottom panal? How do I remove just the top panel.

on my 99 its one piece just lift up a little bit

after you remove the whole door panel from the door, remove the screws holding the top and bottom piece together.
