I am hooking up a powered sub to the factory unit. I was going to splice the remote turn on wire before it goes into the factory amp in the trunk but am not sure which color it is. Anybody know? Saw some other threrads and looked at intaller.com but no help.

 

You could make your own remote turn on by hooking into the bose remote turn on or using a timed relay from the stock head unit.

 

which wire do I tap into?

 

Try and search i think dustbuster4 has the pinouts of the stock bose stereo.

 

I just ran mine under the door panels to the fuse box

 

thanks, was able to run it off the yellow and white wire that goes into the amp
