Hey guys. You know how they sell those alarm remotes on EBAY for cheap? Can I buy one and just switch my insides for it so I dont have to program the new one? Is this easy to do? I will buy the same one, not tryin to retro-fit anything. Thanks

 

why dont u get ding069 to put the old remote in the new style?

I only have one remote. is there a way to turn off the alarm so i can just use my key? im in new york, so its gonna take a while to get it there and back. did you turn off your alarm?

 

u dont have to turn the "alarm" off, just lock your doors and use your key to open
ding lives in rhode island, so it shouldnt take very long at all,, i live in texas, but it still didnt take very long, i shipped everything out on thurs., he received on Mon. and should be shipping out today

the stock theft-prevention "alarm" is only activated when the door is unlocked from the inside after initiation

 

Last question, he can put my brain in any new acura remote?? or it has to be a CL. which did you use?

 

i have the new TL/CL remote that was on 02 and 03 , thats the only one i am sure he can do ,,, im not sure about others , but that swap is supposedly a perfect fit
