my added mods was cf hood tokico shocks struts bars and painted the bottom all around with black housings thanx to yblegal

i had it in there for over a month becuz i was waiting for the hood but it took 2 days to get it too look like that i love my bodyshop

I told it was going to be a bitch to get the hood to fit right. I have the same hood and was a bitch to drill and make it fit right. The assholes that make the hood should atleast sell it pre-drilled. You might want to look into some hood pins or at highway speeds that shit feels like its going to fly off.

hell yeah that shit rumbles around and looks freakin scary when im hitting over 100 i hate hood pins but i might look into the safety.... and the grille needs to be customed becuz the stocks dont fit perfectly

looks like you got it to fit well but you should paint it IMO I dont get why people buy carbon hoods and dont paint them Arent they just for weight reduction and shouldnt they be painted? I dont think they look bad on black or white but carbon and green dont mix Sorry for the negative comment

i like the weave on the hood thats why i kept it like that imma just have black and green on the outside adding flat black rims.....

I saw that you have a cf hood. Some body asked you where and how much. I need that info. I have a white 97 cl. t6he hood would look perfec.

these hoods are made to not be painted, if you notice real carbon fiber isn't smooth and shiney. They put a clear coat over the carbon fiber so it'd be kinda stupid to paint it.

If you notice, the CF pieces they sell for porsches, etc. Like door panels, aren't finished w/ a clear coat, because most porsche owners (well all i've seen but 1) paint the carbon fiber. Ricers don't.
