You are about to get own3d for not searching, just a warning.

The engine is tuned to perform best on regular octane.

our engines aren't built for higher octane, unless you have major internal work done. 87 is what's recommended

btw, cool to see another pacific nw cl'er

get regular... I would recomment the mid one because of the stupid averaging. The 87 is an average so you could be getting inferior gas... so i would go with 89 if I had money but i just use 87.

get regular unless you have a vafc and its tuned or running a turbo or NOS

i use 87 since gas is now up to 2.11 around here for 87, i used to run 92 when it was only 1.99 a gallon i remember back in the day

but 87 is what they say, if i go to the track i would run only 92

I started out using regular but i figured what the hell is another dollar every time i fill up. Should I go back to regular? would the premium actually do any damage to my engine??

it might actually cause more carbon built-ups.

there is no difference to feel, the higher octane means the fuel is harder to combust and the extra additives will build up as well as robbing you of power and your money you are a fool to use anything over 87 untill you have fi

but i do feel he extra kick of the car and i do feel the engine running smoother and less knocks when i put in the additive .. 94 has more octain obviously and burns cleaner with less buildup .. as a matter of fact i just put this new additive last week and i have driven about 200 and something kilometers and my crome pips are still shining !! i alwayz had to clean the black buildup around the tip of the muffler .. still think it doesnt work ??!?
