i have a 99 2.3 CL and i bought

these

and i wanted to know if the emblems would fit on the trunk of my car. I kno my car has a crease in the middle of the trunk and these emblems dont have a natural curvature....so do u think ill have any problems with these staying on or looking like shit.

hmm well you shouldnt have too much problem...I saw someone do this same thing, but with blue ones. just press firmly

 

yea.. except that our trunks sort of have a line right down the middle that comes out.. so it may not stick properly.

Try it out though, and good luck! I've seen a CL in miami somewhere w a yellow badge. It was nasty, but thats because the car's owner didnt take good care of the car...

I had that same Emblem......However i bought one for like $20 bucks!

So I know i def. got ripped off.......anyway. I never found a way to put the emblem on my car. I figured it would look cool on the back trunk being that my car is blck and everything.

However I did see another '97 Cl around my way with the emblem attached to the trunk. The dude told me he had it put on....by a local body shop.

So I think you can def. put it on your ride

 

im not a big fan of those different colour emblems

dont waste the money . . .they will not stick on the edges cause of the massive ripple in the middle of our truinks . . .i have the carbon fiber ones and it sticks . . .from far aways its looks kool . . .but the closer you get the more you can see that they are not completley on the trunk . . .will post pic later . . .

 

uhh, honestly, leave the stock ones, or take them all off. and if you really want to do it, try heating it up to bend it so itll look better

 

I had to buy a new emblem because someone stole my "A"...I just bought a carbon fiber one. I put two rows of dbl sided tape on them leaving a little gap in the middle for that crease. If you try and do it with just the tape that is on there it will not stick on right. I just doubled up the tape on the outsides and left about 1/4" gap running verticle. That gap is for the crease in the trunk. Ive had mine on for about a year and it has not come off yet.

 

the guy before me super glued a red acura symbol to the existing symbol not really my style so i took off the red symbol used some strong alcohol to remove the glue and painted the stock one so don't put it on you will regret it
