rear wing installation instructions

rear wing installation instructions

I need to remove my rear wing to polish underneath. searched but couldn't find oem install instructions. anyone have this and willing to post?

take off your trunk lid liner on the bottom of the lid, there are 2 10mm bolts on each side and one in the center, the wing will lift right off, but the wires are still there, i just cut mine to completely remove the wing then spliced and reconnected them when i put it back, its easy

appreciate the reply. I could have been more specific. with all the cracked center supports I've read about over the years, I'm looking for torque specs for the bolts.

ok so I broke down and called my dealer - 11 ft/lb for all three bolts

Do you eve need a torque wrench for this thing? i just lined mine up, drilled holes, and bolted the wing on..

course not. you don't *need* a torque wrench for these things, but I *use* a torque wrench for things like a six hundred dollar piece of plastic that's been on the car for eight years that I don't want to crack and have to replace.
