Rear lip process

Well, I finally got off my ass and after having this lip for almost a year I started working on it. It's almost done, just a little glazing putty, and wetsanding left.

Dont mind all the dust on the bumper, it's from all the sanding. That's all for now. I will post pics as soon as it's painted and post them up.

Almost, but not quite. I bought it off ebay for 100 shipped. Spend around $40 for body work materials, and $100 for the paint. I did all the labor myself. This is not a 94-95 ww accord rear, It's a customized 96-97.

Fitment is no where near the accord. I did alot of cutting, sanding grinding to get it to fit rite. I did cut it in half and removed 2" out of the center. MY wheels are in storage rite now being that it's winter here "rainy season" and many potholes have opened up here and there. Our state sucks at road repair. A couple of months ago I was on the way back from my friends house at 3am and slammed a 6"-8" deep pothole. Lucky I had my stocks on if not I would of gaurenteed busted the rim.

fitment looks a little bit off above the exhaust where the lip meets the bumper.

eitherway, it looks pretty damn good! i agree with alex though, round off the exhaust cutout.

For some reason it only looks like that in the pic. In person its straight. It mite be the color contrast between the black/grey.

I'm gonna leave the cutout on the exhaust the way it is. Later on down the road I mite put exhaust on. Then I will fit the lip around it.

No, It's just the stock exhaust with tsx tips. I thought they looked better than the stock ones, I got em for free so I slapped em on. I haven't really found an exhaust style that I like. I really like the dual tip junction produce exhaust but it's $1000 just for the muffeler

you're damn right they look better than stock exhaust lol. I thought it was aftermarket too =[]

PS Still think you should round edges when you get a chance. Overall though, like I said earlier, still looks tight
