Rear Bumper Paint Problem

Anyone else having this problem? The paint on the horizontal part of my rear bumper is all rough and is starting to look badly faded. The rest of the car (including the vertical parts of the bumper) are fine--smooth and glossy.

I seem to remember seeing a TSB about this several months ago, but now I can't find it.

I have the same problem and it looks horriable. Like the clear coat came off or something. I didnt realize there was a service bulletin. Does if have to be fixed with in a certain about of time?

I brought it to my dealer yesterday and since my car is still in warranty he's going to call Acura and see what they recommend. He thinks that maybe they can buff it out, but I agree with you--it's more like the clear coat has come off, so buffing won't help. I'll let you know what they say.

Thanks My dealer said it was the body shops fault but they blamed Acura. The dealership said they couldnt do much due to the high miles but it is so ugly and $250 to repaint the bumper is alot (well for me atleast)

$250 can't be much compared to that list of mods!

So if the clear coat is coming off and my car is still under warrantee until 50K miles then it's covered?
