really bad noise from header 3.0

really bad noise from header 3.0

i just got my headers put in myself everything is tight but the damn thing makes noise's and vibrates alot anyone else with 3.0 stone racing headers notice this? The sound is driving me nuts i know someone else must have come upon this and fixed it somehow

try tightening everything again? make sure you used all the gaskets/O-rings. Check the heat sheild on the cat, maybe the headers slightly moved the exhaust so that it touches the heatshield and rattles now.

heat shield? the heat shield around the cat converter?

the noise is really bad really bad its a constant vibrating noise at all RPM

yea its the heat shield. go down and look at the cat heatshield, its prolly hittin the body heatshield.

well i beat the shit outta my heat shield and the noise was stil there, after 20 minutes of finkleing around i found the problem... my 02 sensor was not twisted in completely and the washer was rattleing.. gains are ok not all they were hyped out to be over at v6p but worth it.

did you reset your ecu? do that and youll tell a bigger difference.

how do i properly reset the ECU i hear like 20342903487 different variations as to how to reset it
