Ok so its somethin like this.. The other day a car backed into my 1998 red Acura CL... decent damage... Bumper is mildy dented, and alot of the paint is scraped off. My hood is also damaged and needs to be replaced. My grill is messed up aswell. This is where you guys come in. Im looking to buy a new hood, because ive been having trouble looking looking for a hood, whether it be after market or factory.. (Either one works ). Also, i was looking for an aftermarket Grill, cause i figure if im gonna fix my car i would like to put at least a few things i wanted into it all in one shot. I am gonna bump this post shortly and add in a few pictures of it, let me kno what you think... i could realli use the site, anyone interested in selling parts, or any websites or places local (I live in bergen County, New jersey) that sell the parts im lookin for. let me know if you find a source for a hood, i've been looking for a very long time with no luck. well I did find a dealership with a hood for 387 or so. i'm thinking of just selling my cl for 4500 with the damage.

 

no i didnt catch the person, which sucks lol.. but im tryin to handle this the best way possible by just goin out and lookin for the parts myself.. its almost impossible tho since these cars are like almost 10 years old.. i thought hondas and acuras were easy to replace .... the accident happened somewhere around 2-5 in the mornin because i dropped my car off at a friends house and went back out... and there were no cars with damage to the back anywhere on the block so it would be almost impossible to find the person.. anyways im waitin on the camera, ima post the pictures in a few.

i was actually lookin for one haha.. no shot im gonna find one, and if i am please link it up cause i need a new hood! lol.. i got my boy sendin me the pictures of my car so u guys can see it in alittle.. its not the worst damage its just that i would rather get it replaced than repaired, its a smarter idea.. cause im thinkin of sellin it yet.. not positive if i wanna stick wit hondas/acuras right now eitha

 

Well finding a hood and grill are going to be a little difficult. If you cant find a CF one, your only shot is probably going to be through either a junk yard or the dealer. They dont make after market grills or hoods. Except for the CF group buy, but those were custom made for the GB.

be SURE that it is for a CL because the hood in the pic is for a different car...

 

i'd make an insurance claim and get a check for it
