Well, my car seems to make more noises when it is cold rather than when it is warmed up. So if you are revving the engine while your engine is still warming up, it might be a part just settling down with the temp change. The is just my .02 of course...

How loud is this rattling?

Yo...

I gotz a 2.3 and I know exactly what you're talkin about. Esp. when i'm parked between two cars and the sound bounces off them...i hear the little rattling sound. Very annoying...anybody know if it's a big problem? What could it be?

mt car raddles too. When i accelerate to about 1000-1500 rpm is raddles in the front. When i drive by walls by engine sounds "rough" (kinda like a chevy truck) but i think thats the headers and the sound it makes when it flows. But the major raddling is when i drive on rough roads or any roads not perfectly paved. I hear squeaks and raddles all the time. Evrything seem tighten up in my suspension tho. O and another thing. My car squeaks bad when it is park and u push it back and forth. ( pop the hood..grab the factory upper tie bar and pull th car back and forth). i even hear it when i step out the car and the the car moves a little when i park on my slightly slanted driveway. Now i wonder if any of this is normal???? I think you all have it better compare to my car.

Check your exhaust system and make sure its not hitting any of the heat shields or anything else. The only other thing it could really be is maybe your muffler is bad, Sometimes the baffles inside the muffler get rusted and loosen up, then make an annoying rattling noise. Thats just from my experience with Honda's.
