so how many of you guys BOUGHT your first gen from someone else (outside of your family)...and how many of you guys got the car handed down from a family member?

...i bought mine with 64,000 on the clock for $6000...2.2 cl, auto, premium. now i have almost 71k on the clock!


....i've just noticed when our first gens are parked next to a second gen, the second gen cl are A LOT bigger than ours...but iono, the second gen looks kinda bubbly to me...

 

i bought mine off a dealer for 8000 with 66000 and i now have 86346....that was a year ago...yea i drive alot

 

I bought mine off of a twenty-some year old lady at 132,xxx for 4,850. 97 2.2 5MT. She was pretty good lookin

 

i bought mine from a friend of the family @ 128K for $4600, it's 134K now and it's not even a year...

 

i got mine off craigslist june of this year..1999 2.3 45k orginal miles for $8400.. now has 50k

 

i got mine july 05 from my ex (she wasnt my ex then) for 4k with 68k mi. 2.3 auto. she sold it to me the same day she leased an 05 tsx

 

i got mine at 53,000 paid $8,700 3.0 premium. now 3 years later have 92,000mi.

 

i personally would not buy a car over 90k. even if it's a family member or friend of yours...just my 2 cents.

 

my 2.2 CL was purchased brand new in 1997 as a birthday gift to my sister... now 9 years later the car has 160k on it and was given to me in 2003.

 

just bought mine 6 months ago with 148,000 2.2 5MT for $4500

immaculate condition

 

it's a Honda... 90K is only 1/3 of its life!!!

 

and theres not that many choices if its your first car.

 

got mine from a dealer....so I kinda got raped. bought it for my birthday 12-22-02 for $10,300 with 70,000 miles.

 

my 1st CL, 1st Gen i got for $8200 with 84K on it in '03. By the time it was totaled in '05 it had 124k on it lol. My 2nd 1st gen i just got for 6800 with 109k on it. A lil much, but i got alot of stuff already on the car so i couldn't really complain.

 

got mine from a toyota dealer 55K miles ago. Paid 10,500 in 2003

 

Bought mine back in 01' from a dealership with 62k on her.

 

bought my 97 3.0 from a dealer in Aug or Sept 2005 for $6500 with 122k
now, a year later, coming up on 135k

 

Bought my 97 2.2 5mt off some dude in the paper with 89,000 for 5000 about 2 years ago

 

I got my 98 3.0 in June 2005 for $10,200 OTD (talked them down from $13,900) with 65,900 miles on it... it has 74,200 miles on it now.

 

Got my 3.0 first gen in June for 5k from my mechanic with 93k miles on it.

 

bought mine in Dec of 04 from a used car dealership for $7800 CDN with 187,000km, now almost 2 years later she's got 225,816km ...the previous owner was some old ass principal

and as u must know, 2.2 5spd

 

got mine from acura in 03' for about 11k w/ 72k miles. as of now it has a little under 94k miles on the odo. im glad its in the museum, otherwise id have like 150k miles by now.

 

Bought mine from a dealer for 13,800 CDN in 2003 with 118,000 KM in really good condition. Now have about 161,000 KM and it to do some paint work, stone chips and all. Its 97 2.2 CL 5MT.

 

I picked my 3.0 up for $5,750 from a used car dealer with 140,000mi back in April. A week later I recieved over three grand in hail damage. She is repaired and now has 143,000mi.

 

dealer on the strip,i think she was 7 G'S 140,000 miles.one owner with service records. now she has 156,000.you can't tell she's been such a roadwhore though.....

 

bought the CL in '01 , w/ 7,000 mi for 20k

sucks that it went down in value.

 

oh yea... bought from a friend in Jan 05. 5g w/109,000 miles on the chassis and about 60,000 on the h22.

 

Got mine @ a dealer, $3900 with 115k mi.
Year later 143k mi.
No major complains here, and only needed maintenance
