quick update, one new pic...

ok the shaving of the rear bumper is done on the sides. took a while, but i learned alot about shaving so i think the rest will go a little quicker. the headrests are almost done and ready to be installed. the optima 750cca should be in by friday so then i can start my car again!

WE NEED TAILLIGHT SUGGESTIONS!!! sorry to those who like the stock lights (me too) but the whole idea is to look different and keep people guessing.

the rear bumper from the side:

they come from a Mitsubishi Mirage 97-00

it's coming togher nice man. i like the way the mirage tails look, but my hope is that APC will get back to you with a design for the tail lights...... altezzas maybe. i think something like the accord design 'tezzas (95-96) would look good on a CL. but they would hev to be in the CL light housing, and instead of being chrome inside they should be the color of the car.

sorry to be so long-winded

How low is the Bumper?

Compared to the sides and stuff. Does it match up or is it lower? I had a few friends with that kit, and the rear seems to be really low. I was just wonderingl. thanks.

Looks real good.

I have a suggestion that I think would look great for the gas cap area.
Take out the square door and put an eclipse round gas door or a different motorcycle type gas door. I can't imagine it would bee that difficult to do and it would look sweet!

Rear lights in my opinion would look good if they were altezza with black housing, not chrome. Or altezzas with a smoked cover.

I suppose if you wanted to fabricate your own lights you could use new Corvette "circle" taillights and insert them in the new bumper area, that might look cool.

Looks good. I like how you labeled the gas tank "gas" Do you have any plans for the gas tank?

cl3.0 i dont think i got your email???

anyway, we are probably going to relocate the gas tank behind the tail light or in the trunk and save the gas door.

Anyway to cover up those wheels? Hate to see all that customizing costing you a set of rims. You changing those too? Just trying to help. Not bitching at all.

How may hours invested so far?

the wheels get covered when i primer, but the dust from sanding isnt really hurting them.

and yes, i would like to sell them and upgrade to a newer wheel. if i get the right amount of $$$ i will sell them immediately. probably going to ask about $1300 with the brand-ass new tires on there.

btw, they are niche shocks, chrome, and the tires are 205/40/17 kumho ecsta supras. the wheels retail for $2400 alone. tires about $375.

Considered putting it behind the rear license plate? I've seen a few cars that had it tucked away there... flip down the plate and you expose the gas cap.

dont like the z3 fenders. not a big fan for some reason, plus the accord fenders dont have that sharp line as ours do, so they wouldnt match up to the doors.

cant run the gas behind the plate because we are probably going to mount the plate low on the bumper, and last time i checked gravity wont allow the gas to run up the pipe.

I think you should put these on your hood. If not both then just one where the intake is or something.

My $.02
