quick steering wheel question

quick steering wheel question
ok the leather on the wheel is pealing off (unfortunately no pics but i dont think you need it).
can i just rip all the leather off and just clean the stick with some goo gone?

yea, the 97 wheels are notorious for peeling... hmm, fake leather maybe??
When mine did it, it was under warranty and acura slapped a brand new wheel in the car... thought that was pretty nice, eventhough I never liked the 97 wheel (too thin for my hands). You can either find a used wheel on ebay or get a leather wrap for it... I wouldnt bother taking the "leather" off because it probably looks really ugly under it... just plain rubber i'm guessing as the whole wheel is wrapped.
