when installing the cAI for my car, it says to leave the wheel well open... wont that drag the ground? im confused

It probably means to leave the air box out.

Maybe it means to leave the cover off the bottom of the front of the car? I know my 2.2 has a flap down under the intake down behind the bumper that you could remove.

 

No, put the fender cover on when you're done

 

maybe trim the splash guard? IDK what they mean 4 sure, all that stuff was removed prior to me installing the cai on my CL

 

Take Splash guards and fender lining down, remove resonator, remove stock upper intake, install CAI, put it all back together. No need to leave fender linings or splash guards off.

man i cut mine cuz i couldnt get the plugs out. lol guess this was dumb .. can i make a splash guard? i was thinking about making one. and my intake sounds bad ass at higher speeds and rpms. is it supposed to be louder like at 60? if im at high rpms?
