Couldn't you just unplug the light from the back of the gauges?

Idk if this would work, i might try...

How about remove the orange plug from the airbag and connect it with the plug from the SSR module near the wheel? i guess it would trick the car into thinking that the airbag is still active...???????

If Youre Going With A Momo/sparco/etc Steering Wheel, Pick Up An Hkb Hub (srs Compatible) And It Should Solve The Srs Light Problem.

I guess you can diy it. But you'll still need a hub for an aftermarket wheel. Just buy it and call it a day.

I have always wondered why people are so concerned with the idiot light being when they change out there wheel. I changed out and mine and removed the seats too and left the lights on. Maybe Im just being lazy, i guess. Most people in the Suby community use a resistor to take care of this issue, but if there is a srs fuse jsut make sure that doesnt disable anything other than the light.

hey good topic i changed mine yesterday w/ a 350 mm steering wheel w/ momo adapter hub, fits like a glove a bit smaller and feels great... when you buy momo adapter it comes with a two little wires connected to a fuse you just connect those wires to a ssr wires and it acts like the airbag is still there.

I just left my SRS light on but i did connect the horn. It doesn't bother me, cause i hardly look down at the gauge plus with the smaller steering wheel it kind of blocks it from my driving angle.

Just install the wheel and call it a day.

So do most hubs these days from my experience, but not all. If anyone is looking for wheels we do carry those, but not the hub adapter, sorry. Click our link for wheels
