Hey, my cars been in the body shop for the past week. They put new emblems on the trunk lid...( acura (A) 3.0cl ) and well, they put them in the wrong spot. Their gonna re-do them tomorrow if i'd like...but i need to know what u all think before i deside. And no, im not debaging....i kinda like the emblems.

You know where the Emblems come stock, on the upper part of the trunklid...they kinda make a straight line across the back...well,

When they re-installed them, they put the acura at the lower part of the trunk lid, then the (A) is still where its always been, and then the 3.0cl is back at the lower bottom again...so instead of them all being in a straight line like they are from the factory, they kinda make like a triangle...


OEM:

Acura____(A)____3.0CL


Now:


__________(A)

Acura_______________3.0CL


(PS: ignore the lines, i had to do that so they would stay spaced so u could get the idea on where they are now)


Sooo...i mean its kinda cool sence no one has it like this but it does look wierd with the Emblems being at the lowest part of the trunk...would u guys leave them like they are and be different, or put them back like they were??

It would be something different. I think it depends on how low they put them. If you think it looks ok I would keep it like that. The only reason I could see it not looking right is if you step back and there just too close to the bumper.

 

Ive seen some CL's around here that have done that, I think it looks kinda weird...but to each his own

 

Well i doubt i would leave it. I would either debadge or re-apply them to oem

 

Don't put it at the bottom. I know I wouldn't. I think it will look gay as fuck. I like the "A" in the middle wihout the circle around it.

 

just get rid of the acura n cl emblem...it looks cleaner

 

i debaged the ACURA and the 3.0CL....i left the (A) in the middle...it looks soo much better now!! U'd be amazed what a new paint job, WW Lip and debaged trunk turns out to look like...wow :-) Now all i gotta do is lower the damn thing!
