Quick header question

I purchased a set of obx headers about 4 months ago. I started to get a loud exhaust leak and when i looked to see where the leak was coming from and i had two holes where the welds broke (the bracket that attaches to the rear of the engine block). I'm getting that welded sometime this weak and for now i am putting on my stock headers.

I wanted to know if i could put a bolt in the place of the lower o2 housing because the o2 sensor is still on the obx headers and i wont get those back for a few days. I know that the check engine light would come on but would it really do any damage?
I would only be putting on about 50 or so miles until i could either put the o2 sensor in or put the obx headers back on.

A lot of the obx headers have weld problems. I would just drive around with the obx headers on until you can get them fixed. from what i understand it only costs a few dollars like 20 or so. I wouldn't drive around with a bolt in my o2 sensor. It could mess up the emissions sensor.

really I have no problem with my obx header... do you have ceramic or stainless?

nevermind read the sig... your SS busted???? that is odd. well just keep the OBX on, just watch out for getting affixiated by the Carbon monoxide

do not put a bolt in the hole. first off if u put a bolt that has 1 thread count off you will never get a O2 sensor in there again, or get the bolt out. eather park the car, or get a new O2 sensor to put in the hole. if u were sure u had the correct bolt, it wouldnt hurt anything but gas milage.

My friend that works at a honda dealership said that it would only affect the gas milage because the computer would not be able to tell if the car is runing rich or lean. The bolt i put in fit perfectly, it was the one that came with the obx headers(they have a spot for an extra o2 sensor up top but it isnt needed on our cars), i put it in by hand first just to be sure.
I have some pictures that im going to post when i get my camera back.

Actually there have been some complaints on the weld quality of obx headers, for our cars and the 3.2 cl.

I wish i would have waited a little longer to get the headers so i could have got on the group buy.
