two questions for rmstoico and other pimp ass acura cl peeps. I want to make the custom grille yblegal has, what kind of glass/bondo should i use?? second, im looking for a spoiler, kind of type r but not so high, like a GSR spoiler or something, do you know what dimensions i would need, and will it angle down to bad because of the slope of the car. Your help would be apprectiated.

i'm tryin to do that style grille too. I bought a 97 grille awhile ago for a project grille, and this weekend i dremeled all the plastic out of the middle part. Now i just have to fill the rest in and have the same question as you.
btw, i'm not in ohio but i might be interested in the dash overlay...

YBlegal used a 98/99 grille, which is easier to do that work to. Fiberglass doesn't stick to plastic, so thats out of the question. I would use a body filler/ bondo combination if i was doing it. Right now i am having a custom grille made up based on a 97 frame. It will def be one of a kind.

If i had an autobody shop Ross, i am sure that i could make it work. But, being a normal DIY like pennykmpr, we cant fiberglass plastic. Thats why we send are stuff to the pros, like you, because it is nearly impossible for the do it yourselfer.

btw, i am a DIY'er with a shop. play around with shit, its easy to learn. i did. i knew nothing about body work 2 years ago. NOTHING!
here are some tips...
dont use bondo it sucks, use evercoat's super everflex for a primary filler, use evercoat's chromalite as a secondary, and evercoat's metal glaze as a finishing glaze. buy a 3M rubber sanding block. maybe i should start a class on this?
