Will the accord starters work for CL's? More specifically what about the 1998 and up starters on the accord? And will the V6 accord starters work for the 4cyl? Does it necessarily have to be from a manual or auto? Sorry for the questions but it looks like i'm in the market for a starter now.

I don't know what the deal is with your starter or anything...but here's my experience. I have a 98 2.3 auto and something in my starter/ignition melted and caused the car to run while the key was out...anyway...there is a recall on this...so whether or not there is a problem with yours you might want to ask them about the recall in the starter/ignition. Hope this helps some.

I just got the ignition switch changed today. They told me that the ignition switch was my problem. It seemed to start right up all day. But I went to get a snack from McDonalds and it wouldn't start. So I'm back at square one.
