I have a 1995 Honda Accord 2.2/5spd that is totalled. Runs & drives very well, but the ins co felt the need to total the car.

I'm looking at a 1997 2.2 CL/auto that is very nice (theft recovery) but I want a 5spd car. I know that the CL is the same driveline & body as the accord.

Can anybody tell me what is involved in this swap. I think the CL will be real easy to swap to a 5 spd, but I would like to swap the auto back into the accord & I understand there are some issues regarding the OBDI/OBDII with an auto & making the accord run. I would like to make the accord run so I can sell afterwards, since it is a pretty nice car with minimal damage.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
