i need to stick my HID ballasts on the airbox and the battery is in the way, i'm a noob when it comes to going under the hood, any suggestions on taking it out?

 

On my 3.0CL the removal is easy, just need a few different sized sockets...

You have a black plastic cover which covers your battery, you have to remove that, I believe there is a nut you must remove.

Once that is done, there is a long black metal piece which holds your battery in place, you should remove that as well (2 nuts).

Then you can remove your battery terminals... Shouldn't take you more than 5-10 minutes.

Well one thing you need to do is make sure that you have the code to your BOSE headunit (if you still have it). But as far as draining any current, no need for that, just disconnect it and you'll be fine.
