I did some searches but it didn't seem to answer all my questions. Car did some werid stuff yesterday, which can be a loose battery, battery is not so good (had for 24 months now), or the alternator might not be so good. I checked the price of the stock alternator and went FUK no. 300 bucks for that crap. SO i lookin in some high powered ones, found some on EBAY which are nice in price 179 for a 135 amp. But anybody here have stinger ones? I just curious if they are better. I didn't get any direct prices but from other cars it seems to be about 200 bucks for one.

 

i was looking into getting a stinger a while back.....my whole electrical system was going to be redone with all stinger products....i put that on hold....but if your running a strong system....i would say go for it...thats what they are made for...plus the extra $100 for the name "stinger" on it ......but if its for daily use 135 amp is plenty

 

Does it look any different besides the stinger logo on it?

 

i believe they have a full chrome one and a regular one.....it has some yellow areas on it that make it look not stock...but other than some color....its the same kinda look
