This is what I baught off of mike (vxcl)

i used my dremel tool and took the projectors out (they are in front of the

Georgia Bulldogs stone and the ferrari f50).. If you notice, in the corner

of the housing, where the blinker is (on the passat light), there is a circular

light diffuser or reflector, or whatever you'd like to name it. It was held in by

a pesky 6 star screw. i dremeled the plastic around it and used the vice grips to

pry it out.

Acura 97-99 Clear bumper lenses are pretty wacked. I dont even know why I got

them in the first place. I guess its something we all tend to want to do immediately.

( - - - - - - Amber owns Jo0 - and me as well - - - - - - - - - - )

I had a hole in the edge of one of my clears, go figure, you get what you pay for, for 20

bucks. I have had my ambers on for a hot while now. And as I was finishing up the

Dis-assembly of the Passat Lamp, I noticed eh, maybe I could use these.

My clear corner project is not done yet, it should come out pretty nice. I plan on buying

some female-male universal wire connectors so I could easily switch my parking lights

to my blinker lights so I could put yellow bulbs in the clear lense and have them always

on, sorta like a lexus look. I also want to drill a hole in the high beam section of our

headlight housing to have the look of the jag x-series, this is a plan that I have for while

I am doing the projectors, I hopefully will be able to have these parking lights with a

threading so I can easily swap colors.

Here is a pic of new "euro" clears.

i dremeled (butchered) them apart and put the diffusers in, it takes 7-14 days for the

sealant to cure, so I wont be finished for a little while, I'll keep you guys posted.

I am also the creative type, in my youth, while experimenting with drugs,

I used to make all sorts of bongs out of orange juice containers and shit.

I also made a bubbler out of a Y-shaped outdoor hose extension and a test tube from

Earth Science class. I'm glad those days are over (flashbacks of the thread "just me and

my grille"). I caught a lot of flak for that thread, but hey, this forum isn't what it used to

be and controversy certaintly stirs up the pot and makes things interesting over here at

I think he swapped out the euro clears lens with another car's euro clear lens. That is my take on it. I have no clue really though.

dont scratch your head, unless it itches.

i did some silly shit.

i took the small circular diffuser out of the blinker housing of the passat headlamp.

i dremeled the clear lense off of the clear bumper lights, drilled holes so the diffuser would

fit. then i used a little rubber cement to keep the legs of the diffuser in place.

i then went to home depot and baught some latex/vinyl sealant. I sealed the lights

back together. This mod didnt have much of a purpose. BUT it did kind of wet my

feet so to say for the projector mod that i will do (hopefully shortly, if i muster up enough

testicles). I'll be at the meet 2 morrow.

in other words - if thise bullseye looking thing weren't there,

thered be a hole for the bulb. this thing has 3 legs, i drilled holes and cemented it in.

there is a rainbow-like glow that is in between each ring. This is what sparked me to

take apart the housing, that, and the fact that there is already a hole and sand/dirt/fog

leaking into my clear. I also dont like clear corners, I think they only look good on lighter

colored cars, but even CL's that are primrose or white dont look as good with them as they

do with ambers
