Q about brakes?
Hey guys
I am having sqeeks when i brake and i have decided to take and resurface my slotted rotors but i was wondering what pads should i use?
I did have on them akibono pad which were recommended by the dealer and was told this is what is used on the stock brakes. but i would like something that wont sqeek
I was looking at some Axxis Metal Masters also i looked into another pair but dont know what to go with
also i would like to keep the price a big concern too since i am a poor college student but i dont mind paying 50 for some NICE pads
anyways, anyone have any ideas or know what works well with their 3.0? only since the 2.2 and 2.3 have different brakes and part numbers

the axxiss will squeek more. It's not the pads that squeek usually, it's usually the brake dust they emit sticking on the rotor etc. Clean your wheels well and your brakes and the squeeking usually goes away. I've had numerous pads and never had a problem w/ them squeeky unless everything is dirty

You can try aftermarket pads. They all squeak up to a certain degree, u might not hear it. Pads is not always the main reason to squeak, it usually a combination. But general rule is softer the pad, quieter it is, and harder the pad more stopping you will get. You will have to find wat u are willing to deal with.
