Purchase opinion

I am looking this Saturday at a 1997 Cl 3.0, it has approx 132000 miles, the trans was replaced with an Acura trans approx 10000 miles ago, all maintenance has been done including the timing belt, the body is clean and there are no rips in the interior, they are asking 4900, I know this is way above the value but since the trans was replaced and I know they are trying to recoup some of the costs, any opinions on this deal, any other major issues that could pop up with the 3.0 verse the 2.2 ?

Trans is the big one, if it's already been replaced, you should be in deccent shape

does it have any warranties on the tranny? even though it was replaced, you can never tell with those trannies. i know there are members here that had already 4 tranny repairs already.

The transmission was purchased from an Acura dealer but the work wasn't done by one, the trans itself has a warranty but the work was done out of my area ( daughter went to college in another area) I would have a warranty on the trans but not the labor which could end up being a worthless warranty.,
