are pulleys and cam gears worth it??
anyone know if it is even worth buying cam gears and pulleys for my 3.0 cl?? it's an automatic and i heard it does not make much difference unless its stick--is this true-any help appreciated!!--thanks--onedayzpay

pulley's are nice, i plan on getting some soon.
the cam gears are a good idea if you're gonna spray so you can retard the timing.
if you get those, add some plugs and some wires also.

you could prolly get more performance from taking your spare tire out of the turnk and skipping breakfast that day then putting pulleys in a car.. pulleys are like.. when you have your entire engine out and redoing tons of other shit.. and you happen to have an aftermarket pulley lying around and you throw it on for shits and giggles

I don't know how true it is, but AEM does show a dyno on an accord that shows a 6hp increase at the wheels throughout the whole band. I've also read some Import Tuners where pulleys do consistently bring 2-5 hp to the wheels. Of course this is nothing to engines with turbo and nos, but to us 150hp cars, 6hp mean something more.
