good news is
the legacy has some BAD ASS h7 units. prob one of the best i've seen.
bad news is
the cutoff sheild is used as a mounting device and i hacked it up to install my new hella units. you could make a new cutoff sheild. i actually made a real size template of it on paper before i hacked it up. you just need a machine shop to cut a 2mm thick piece of sheet metal to shape. i do have the lense and projector in perfect condition.

9006 is totally not the way to go
the output on them sucks
the h7 nor a h1 would be the way to go, you can get a set of h7 valeos and then later if you want to do hid's all you have to do is get the h7 to d2s adapters
if you have an y questions me and VXCL are the guru's of retros
I have a bunch of projectors for sale right now
I can sell you a set REALLY cheap they are just collecting dust, i mostly sell high end stuff, I have a nice set of SC430, the lexus 2 door car 2005, the best next to the S2000, those I can do for 250 plus shipping
A low end projector, I have a set of H7 passat barely that old and I can do it for 50 plus shipping, you can PM me and I can send you some pics
but I can answer any question out there possible about retros
