one is a 9006 projector for the highs and i will use a 9005 yellow bulb or a silverstar

and the valeos, the bigger ones take d1s, the mins dont need ballasts, i wish i would but too much power and wiring

 

i had to custom make the shrouds and make my design all over again

the first design did not work right, for what i wanted

 

valeos are full on HID's the rare and hard to find brand new d1s system in osram, the more purple and blue colors once color shifted

and they are new so im the first user to use them at all

the silverstars or yellow bulbs are for the minis for DRL or just a dual beam for that extra touch

and what u using the sylverstars for?.........when u think u gonna be done with that?

so i would imagine if one was to convert the headlamp to fit projectors.......you would have to remove the headlamp. Those this throw of the positioning of the headlamp? how can u aim the light ?

 

its a 4300k conversion, and its a d1s system, the rarest of the bunch, a Osram D1S bulbs and ballasts brand new, and most can not get them new unless you know a person that works for the manufacture or installs them on cars from the factory which i do

silverstars i might use for the highs but im thinking of yellows for a JDM look with the clear rx300 minis if not then ill use silverstars in a is300 fog light set for the highs with the solverstars they will be bright as fuck

and i will be done in a couple of months since i work 12 hour days i dont have time except on the weekends and it takes about 2-3 full days to do only the low beams and that is about 8-10 hours a day, i do them perfect the first time. so with the highs being a projector system too, im thinking like maybe 8-10 days to get all the bugs worked out, wiring issues, and making sure hey are sealed right and properly.

to install these you need to cut up your stock headlamp, once you cut there is no going back. when i do conversions i like to use oem aiming and try to get as stock it possible, which i am doing, and with all the time and planning, ask all the og members ive been planning and designing this for over a year now and finding all the right parts to fit properly. you aim the light with oem aiming when you install them properly they should use oem aiming, and your set.


its tough making them perfect but im a perfectionist, you can see my old setup on 97CL22's car in photo section here:

those wre only a H1 setup but for the price and the time i put into those, they were the best setup possible for the first gen that was the cheapest, all the money comes from the labor i put into them, it took over 30 hours to perfect them and make them right and the light with a H1 projector is amazing compared to stock and then just think a D1S system or a D2S system will blow them out of the water but it was a learning experience and i made those in about 5 days about 30-40 hours and redid them about 3 times and the shrouds are all custom, the trim is all hand made and molded metal with a sand bag and a mallet, and a lot of hand molding into place

just to give you an idea of what work ive done in the past

good luck joe. i remember when i had that kind of inspiration. i was even in the process of fitting benz led tails in my cl tail lamps. then i gave it all up. too freakin busy. with the new car its all moot any ways.

sure no prob. i knew it was the relays. it may be wired wrong also. use the diagram i gave you and trace everything to double check. it seems odd that both are bad.

 

DAMN thats is gonna be sexy... love that dual beam.. like the bmw/mercedes right? like the yellow on the inside and the lows on the outside? how much this setup costin ya bro?

 

i cant tell you what i paid cause i sell parts so i get them lower than resale when i do have parts in stock since ive been busy lately ive been lagging, but valeo dot's run about 150-175 then bulbs and ballasts run 250, then the headlight are about another 300 since i got another set, then the rx300 minis i sell for 75 with bulbs, then the harness, and the custom shroud, and materials to do the install ie. paint, sealant, dremel bits, primer, quick steel and some nice rubber seals then figure if you were to have someone do this i charge 300-400 depending on teh setup for labor alone. all in all it runs if you were to do this setup about, 1000-1200 for the whole thing if you were to pay someone to do it paying retail for all parts, but i got the hook up

 

dam thas alot of loot.

i rather the HID look without the projectors then......cuz a G is out of the price range.

iam workin' with a 340 dollar budget here.

 

can you put the projectors in later? or can't you do that after you "rebase" the bulbs to fit our housings? I'm wit baller, I got 4 maybe 5 bills to spend, a G would kill me right now.

 

 

buy the parts yourself and then have him do it.
