Project Accord Cl...need Some Imput.

well ive been thinking about doing a project for a while now with a honda accord ex coupe (94-97) with front end damage (minor bumper, hood and fender damage). going to put an acura cl 97-99 front end on it and keeping the car as stock as possible (maybe lowering it a little) . i know there might be minor fabrication needed if any but i the outcome is gonna be worth it. two of my favourite cars in one !!!! let me know what u guys think and problems i might run in to......thanks

no, the Accord front end looks no better than the CL, i dont see the point. you should consider though just buying that Accord as a project car.

I would use the accord as a project car, but thats just my opinion.

If you seek opinions, then ^^ thats what I think. Otherwise, the final decision is YOURS. Do what you will.

CL Platano posted pics of a white cl with accord front end, and it looks kinda weird imo. Definately creative, but like most people said, either hook up your CL, or look for somethin else to work on, seems like a waste to have 2 "accords" and hook them both up

no problem bro. Let us know how that goes... I love the TSX, and now there's a freaking supercharger for it!

Hialeah High... old alma mater.

back on track - If you sell the Accord and the CL together, you can probably get enough for a good down payment along with anything you've saved for either an s2k or the TSX.

waste of money, you can work on a much nicer car if you were "intentionally" going to do a "from the ground up" build; which of course will cost money. so if you planned on spending money on a car, why not spend it towards something nicer?

like what??? for the money an 5th gen Accord isnt a bad looking car, as being a strickly honda fan i cant think of a nicer older car to re-build, except for a 92-96 Prelude. and everyone and there brothers are doing Civic and Integra re-builds, so wheres the fun in that.

TSX no..S2K yes..TSX is slow but looks good. You can get a OEM lip kitted V6 Accord Coupe for the price of a TSX and blow it's doors off in a sec. V6 Accord>TSX
