Angry Progress Sway Bar...

Well, some of you might remember the fiasco i had with the Addco sway bars a while ago. The seller finally conceded that the bar WILL NOT FIT, and he sent the Progress sway as a replacement. Does anyone has that bar in their car? How do you mount the bar onto your car? Can you please post up a pix of the bar on the car (rear is good enough...)?

Thank you very much!

Chris (blackack), what are those black pieces above the D-brackets holding up the bar? Is it custom? The progress bar doesn't come with it and i don't know where/how to mount it... and the instruction is incorrect... go figure... Can you take a close-up pix of that piece?

Really appreciate it man!

that black piece is a bracket that bolts to the car with one 17mm bolt. The bushings then bolt to this bracket thus holding it on. You can't take the mounting bracket off unless you take the bushings off. You can't mount the swaybar without that bracket. At least this is how my ST rear bar is. I don't think the progress would be different.

That's the bracket, all the bushings for the sway bars are red

The bar bolts on each side, and the 2 bushings go around the middle (red)

I can take closer up pics for you if you want.

lol... Addco is a new(?) company that offers sway bars and other stuff. I saw that they have a set for 94-97 accord and i bought it but it DID NOT FIT! I had to go to hell and back to get them send me the Progress swaybars as replacement...

Depends on the brand, you can get the RSB for $145-175.

I got mine for $free.99

I actually traded a skunk 2 TB for mine when I had my accord. I was having problems with it and I bought it used for $70 anyways so I figured it was a dope trade.

You will have to drill into the rear cross member to get it on. Mount the progress sway bar to the end links and match it up to the cross member and mark where the holes should go.

im selling both front and rear tanabe sway bars for $250. i lost my bushings (they're $20 each for front and rear, so 40 total) hence the low price. if anyone is in socal, you're more than welcome to pick up.
