Aerogear20002 is the guy that sells OBX headers on Ebay. My paypal cleared on the 14th. It takes the guy a few days to respond to emails. He finally gave me the UPS tracking number on the 22nd. I called UPS and they said it was to be shipped to my house on the 29th. After not recieving my header yesterday I called UPS. They said I had to contact the shipper that they never got the product. I emailed the guy with my tracking number, and he replied with , what is the auction number? Now I sent a kina rude email trying to find out what exactly is going on............. Sorry to ramble, kinda pissed! Anyone have a similar experience with the OBX header guy on Ebay????

 

i would file a square trade act through ebay

you are covered under this for shipping items out, did you pay for the insurance? did dyou print out that the package was shipped? all documents need to be in paper form for you records as well as documented on the comp too

 

this happened with me and dustbuster with a memeber on here by the name os PRadonski

I don't have anything printed out. It is all in my mailbox. He never said that he shipped the product. I had emails saying that I won the aution. Also a email that said my paypal cleared. After about a week I had to email the guy trying to find out a tracking number. That damn aerogear20002 guy even gave me good feedback on Ebay! I will wait to see what he has to say on mon / tue. A buddy of mine told me that paypal will reimburse you if buy from someone and you never get the product. What a big pain in the butt. Not to mention, I'm not sure if anyone remembers or not but I bought a AEM CAI and never had it shipped. I bought it on first1.com(the site is no longer there). It took 3 months for my credit card company to investigate and I finally got my money back from that. Keep in mind these 2 things, CAI and OBX header are my first 2 purchases ever on the internet.

 

that sucks man. ive got the same thing happening with my new radar detector i bought off ebay. it was from a company, and its been over 2 weeks now and i dont even have a tracking number. ive sent like 5 emails to them and they havent responded to one of them. BUT this is the first time ive had trouble with buying anything off ebay.

 

I just got home tonight anxious to see if that ass emailed me. What do you know, no response?
BE CAUTIOUS OF THE OBX HEADER GUY ON EBAY... I will try to be patient. All he has to do is email me and keep me informed.

 

this is why paypal is good. they will give you your money back right away once they check with the seller. I've been buying off ebay for years now, every part on my car basically, and i only had 1 problem and paypal took care of it right away. then i had ebay go after him and they suspended his account supposedly. u gotta be careful on ebay and read EVERY feedback about the seller, i always do. if there is more than 2 or 3 negatives that are about the same thing (slow delivery, slow to respond) i leave it alone and keep searching. theres too many sellers on ebay to just pick the first one.

 

Well, no email today either! This guy pisses me off! He is a power seller. He has a ton of feed back..High 90 something percent good and a few bad ones here and there. It looks like he sells all kinds of car crap, not just the headers. I guess I will have to wait another day. I will send him another email tonight. I sent one on Sunday, and one yesterday.

 

Now I'm truly starting to wonder. Still no email back regarding where my header is. It has been 3 weeks and he has not replied to my emails in the past 3 days. DO NOT BUY HEADERS FROM THE OBX GUY ON EBAY!!!!!!!!!

 

Well I called UPS again and they were able to give me the name of the company. I was after a phone number to contact this clown. Here is their website if anyone cares. I called the number and it didn't work. It does say on the contact part something about they moved and that their number got disconnected. I will try to be patient and keep future people who plan on doing business with this ass informed of the outcome of this nightmare purchase.

Well after filing a claim with paypal. I finally got my header today! The guy never emailed me back or anything. It was a long road, 1 month.....but atleast I got it today!!!
